Bring to class: LMT card, set of twin sheets, cream or oil

Deep-Tissue Techniques- This course allows therapists to apply deep tissue manipulations for their clients without causing undue strain on the therapist’s hands and thumbs. These techniques help therapists conserve energy while giving the deep pressure client’s request. Bring to class: LMT card, set of twin sheets, cream or oil

Trigger-Point Massage- Trigger-point Therapy is the application of ischemic compression to specific points along the body. When pressure is applied to these areas it triggers referral pain in another area of the body. Hot Stone Massage Therapy including Cool Stone Facial Application with Aromatherapy- Hot Stone Massage is the application of heated stones to the body for therapeutic benefits. Bring to class: LMT card, set of twin sheets, cream or oil, athletic clothing for stretching

Spa Treatments- This course includes aromatherapy, exfoliations, and body applications commonly used in all six major types of spas across the United States. Bring to class: LMT card, set of twin sheets, cream or oil

Massage for  Special Populations: Side-lying Massage Techniques for Prenatal and Elderly Clients- This course provides that massage in some form is beneficial for nearly everyone, male or female, young or old, active or sedentary businessman. Pre-natal Massage- This course’s lecture includes a detailed description of the indications, contraindications, and massage implications of providing massage services to pregnant clients.  The hands-on application focuses on the positioning and use of a special bolster called a preg-pillow to provide the utmost comfort to a client throughout her pregnancy and after the baby is born. Clients love this type of pre-natal massage because even into the last month of the pregnancy a woman can lie in the prone or face down position to receive a massage and still be comfortable. Bring to class: LMT card, set of twin sheets, cream or oil, one extra flat twin sheet, three pillows with pillow cases
